"Children play and explore in the extremely stimulating, well-planned learning environment both indoors and outdoors" -Ofsted Report

At Droxford Montessori School, we are surrounded by areas of natural beauty. We have several offsite visits to the local woods, fields and our allotments. Photographed below are some of our beautiful learning areas.

Our Montessori Allotment

The children attend a weekly Gardening Club where they can experience the full life cycle of plant growth. The children are enthusiastic to try and enjoy the new foods they have grown themselves from seed.

Our Garden

Children are able to have free flow access to our large secure garden. Our play encourages creativity and ingenuity through use of many re-useable green resources such as pallets, trugs and wooden off cuts.

Our Woodland School site

As part of the Montessori Curriculum, we hold a weekly Woodland School trip where we explore nature in many forms from observing seasons, insect life, construction and crafts. We brave all weathers and particularly enjoy muddy puddles!
